Rachael Wettenstein
Rachael has a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute in New York. Her studies focused primarily on youth services in public libraries and digital archiving. Before Rainbow Gardens she worked as a librarian at Moretown Library and the New York Public Library where she served on the Best Book For Kids committee, selecting the top books of the year. She’s a fierce champion for diverse books that ensure every child can find a story where they feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
Rachael moved to Vermont and within a few weeks was tapping her first maple tree. She enjoys picture books, preparing vegetarian feasts, thrifting, campfires, and exploring the Green Mountains with her partner and doofy dog. She always keeps extra dog treats and googly-eyes in her fanny pack for emergency deployment. She loves sharing her passion for stories and play with the children at Rainbow Gardens!
