The support teacher will assist teachers with breaks and support providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children aged 2-6 years. This is a part-time position in a collaborative environment, which follows a school-year calendar (end of August through mid-June).
Responsibilities:
Support children in their daily routines, specifically mealtime, bathroom breaks, and rest time.
Foster positive relationships with the children and their families.
Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure the well-being of the children and school environment.

Ability to assist the lead teacher in supporting children in their daily rhythm while maintaining a nurturing environment.
Strong observation skills to identify and respond to the individual needs of children in the classroom.
Team player with effective communication skills to work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hours are 12pm to 5pm Monday through Wednesday, and 12pm to 3:30pm Thursday (18.5 hours per week), with an additional 10-15 hours for meetings events during the school year.
Salary is $20 per hour.
Position involves working in and outdoors. Must be able to work outside for periods of time in changing weather conditions; i.e., rain, snow, wind and/or cold. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, walk over uneven terrain and have good stamina.
