Rainbow Gardens is committed to creating an environment where all people feel welcomed, valued, and respected. We welcome students, families, faculty, and staff of all races, sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, ethnicities, physical or mental differences, cultural and religious heritages, socio-economic backgrounds, geographic origins, political affiliations, and family structures. We reject discrimination in all of its forms.
It is a fundamental goal of our programs to help our students understand and experience the common humanity in all of the world’s peoples. Our curriculum transcends any divisive barriers of categorization based on gender, race, religion, culture, family structure, nationality, or ability. We teach our students to value the differences in individuals and to recognize the strength and wisdom in diversity.
We aim to keep our curriculum open and inclusive enough so that each child can feel a sense of true belonging in the classroom. We see each child for their innate and unique worthiness. Our school culture is caring, inclusive, and holistic, and we value each member of the school community.
As a wider school culture, we challenge ourselves to constantly evolve our understanding of the world, our history, and our culture to uncover and unwind our biases so we can meet all members of our community with equanimity and compassion.
